EDIT BY FLOO: There is now an RSVP and "donations" thread for this in the Ponyville forum. If you are planning to come, even from outside our area, please go here and check in. Thank you.
---------------------------------
Where: Talley Student Center- The Walnut Room - 4th Floor
When: Saturday, March 31st
Time: 12:30pm-9:30pm
To get to the Wolves Den, you need to go down the stairs at the back of the lobby when you first enter Talley. It's the first door on your right in the basement.
[Kazi EDIT 3/28]
Due to an event where University Dining wants to promote the Wolves' Den as a game watching center for the Final Four, we have generously been given the Walnut Room on the 4th floor of Talley. I'm sure many of you will appreciate the incredible amount of space in this room. We will even have three separate TVs set up for those ponies who might not want to play Rock Band or watch episodes at some point and wish to play video games (such as Marvel vs Capcom 3). We will have access to a library of video games and controllers, but you MUST come to me (I will be the pony with the Lotus and Aloe badge) to request controllers or games, as only the person who made the reservation can go down and rent out equipment.
Here's the address since it's been a long time since we've had a meetup at NC State:
Talley Student Center
2610 Cates Avenue
Raleigh, NC 27695
The parking is the same as last time: You can park in just about any spot on the weekends, but there is no parking right in front of Talley. You can park in the Jeter Drive Bays or any level of the adjacent parking deck except the ground level(it's a pay lot). To get to both places, you have to come up Pullen Rd. and go down Dunn Ave. If you're coming from Western Blvd onto Pullen, Dunn Ave. is your second left. If you're coming from Hillsborough St. onto Pullen, it's the second right after the traffic circle.
As always, be sure to check in with about how many other ponies you're bringing. This will, again, be more of a rough estimate as we will have a number of ponies that will be coming from the NC State group. The RSVP list will be checked and updated HERE from how on (3/18).
There is a restaurant down in the Wolves Den, but it's closed on the weekends. Just like last meet, we will not serve you lunch. There's a bunch of fast food places around NC State to eat at. This place is pretty large, so feel free to invite your friends as usual.
We will mention this at the meet as well, but we will be taking onsite donations to get some pizzas delivered for dinner. We would encourage everypony that shows up to contribute something whether it's a donation, or drinks, or something, especially since NC State members are required to pay $5/semester dues to be an official part of the club. Details are also in the "RSVP" post.
Yes, this meet starts at 12:30pm. But no, we will NOT be livestreaming Ponyville Confidential. However, we will be downloading the episode onsite so we can all watch it in the glory of 1080p. We should have it by the start of the evening.
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Better to be safe than sorry.
